Featuring Pat Harris and Linda Ruttelynck
Pat Harris and Linda Ruttelynck have been working with the landscape of North Mayo since 1997. Both fellows of the Ballinglen Arts Foundation in Ballycastle, it was through Ballinglen that they discovered this beautiful and isolated landscape.
For their exhibition at Hamilton Gallery they will bring a series of drawings,digital prints and oil paintings. This is a joint and multidiscipline exhibition that will give a layered, multifaceted portrait of this very inspiring landscape.
Linda Ruttelynck was born in Antwerp and studied at St.Lucas and the Royal Academy of Antwerp for printmaking and painting followed by a postgraduate in the academies of Prague and Bratislava.
She teaches drawing and graphics at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp. Linda has shown her work at numerous venues across Europe and in the USA.
In addition to being included in various private collections her work is also represented in the public collections of the Belgian State, Province of Antwerp, the Prentenkabinet and the Mercator collection Antwerp, The Boyle Civic collection, Ballinglen Arts Foundation and the Office of Public Works, Ireland.
